In 1929 the Blenko Glass company first began making tableware to supplement it's initial product, hand blown colored sheet glass. Always both funcional and classical in form, these photos demonstrate the early influences of the company's tablewares; primarily Italian and Scandinavian.

The Museum's initial projects included three year-long groundbreaking exhibitions of historic Blenko glass in a Seattle gallery space. In the context of the North West glass culture each exhibition was welcomed & lauded with critical praise.
